“Khellsi as an artist is the definition of creativity. I’m very authentic in everything I do because i’m passionate about my art. I started years ago but i’m progressing & developing by each track. For so long, it was hard to introduce myself as an artist because I feel like there’s always something more but a wise one once told me “an artist never stops creating!” so I took that as; no matter the lyric, the flow, the beat and/or the production of the whole song… the “more” that I needed was myself.”

This new song is really coming from a place of hurt but at the same time channeling new beginnings. If I could choose any song I have out right now for someone to get to know me as an artist, I would pick this one and i’m going to leave it at that. Take a listen yourself!
Who would you most like to collaborate with?
I would love to collaborate with Eric Bellinger. He’s been a huge inspiration in my artistry. It’s the way he plays around with his words in the lyrics… GOAT
Where are you from and what is the music scene like?
I’m from Dallas, TX. Raised specifically in Arlington. Shoutout to every underground artist here & shoutout to the artist who came up out of DFW – Kaash Paige, Erica Banks, Yella Beezy, Dee Gatti & many more.There’s so many dope people in my city.
How have your life experiences influenced your music?
I like to say that everyone is living this thing called life and i’m just telling my side of the story. I write all my music from the heart because music is my way of expressing myself. As an artist, if i’m not speaking on my life than what is the base of my career? If I can touch atleast one person and change their life because of my experiences, than i’ve completed my mission.
