Summersick is the feeling of being ready to reach the end of an emotional winter. The first single, “Out of Town”, started as a celebration of the desire to get away, have fun experiences, and find yourself. It has since also become an anthem of lament for the pandemic, not allowing for that to happen.
“Out of Town” was released on Spotify, iTunes, and other streaming services on September 7th.

When I write music, I do it with the desire to reciprocate the feeling of warmth and positivity that I feel when listening to my favorite bands. Music helped me get through years of depression.
With SUMMERSICK, I’m joined by my brother, Nick, who moved in with me just before the pandemic hit. The project has helped us reconnect and bond over our shared love of music.
Summersick features members from Atlanta indie bands such as Antarcticats (Chris Senador & Lisa Rossi), and Andrea & Mud, Big Brutus, Phodago (Will Derr).
