Tell us something about you that fans should know:
Biodata sonification aims to turning into music the micro-currents, which are measured across the leafs of the plants or across the non-human organisms. The project was born in May 2021 using using a modified version of the open source circuit Midi Sprout The name Ygg is the root of Yggdrasil, which is the world tree in Norse mythology. Imagining the roots as electrical wires, in digital era Ygg is a hybrid machine-plant entity speaking through a Synth instrument.
Where are you from and what’s the music scene like there?
The Voice of Ygg is a biomusic project based on Bio-sonification paradigm. We are from Italy, and our goal is to turn the biorhythms of the plants and in general of living being into music.
