The thought process that inspired the song “Keep Me Up” was to create a dance fusion single that can display the ups and downs of pursuing a relationship. The song has almost a dreams to nightmare type of feel to it, because of the intense beat switch in the middle of the song. With a strong kpop influence, Keep Me Up displays some of the early joys that come in the beginning of a relationship in a fun/dance pop tribute. As the relationship starts to take a turn for the worst, the beat switches to a sentimental synopsis of the downfall of the relationship.
