Recording Artist: Tricky Ethan
Can you tell us a little about yourself?
I am a 20 year old musician from Cincinnati. I am passionate about art and storytelling, especially through music and video games. I've been playing guitar, piano, and singing from a young age, and writing songs since I was 12. I have a lot of unreleased music that I plan on perfecting and releasing sometime soon once I learn a little bit more about promotion and all that. I'd describe my music like melodic hip hop/pop, similar to artists like The Kid LAROI and iann dior.
What I really want…
All I want is to someday make enough money to support myself solely from the art that I create.
What is your greatest source of inspiration?
I am inspired by Porter Robinson, Whitearmor, and also the incredible storytelling and world-building seen throughout the Final Fantasy videogame series.
How have your life experiences influenced your music?
A lot of my songs come from times I've been overwhelmingly depressed, uncomfortable, or lost. I use these songs as a means to pull me back into who I'm supposed to be, and while they are reminders of my insecurities and regrets, it's the songs that help me move past them.
