Artist Name: Rusty Steel

Who are you?

From rehearsing with his brothers to preforming all around the world with some of the most influential bands and musicians, Rusty Steel is a man of many talents. A skilled musician with an iconic voice Rusty has been known for his genre bending abilities and his electric live performances. From the small town of Erwin, TN he began his music career in the family bluegrass band. He would eventually go on to open for George Jones at the age of 14 and preform with Ralph Stanley, Earl Scruggs, Quiet Riot, Warrant among others throughout his career.
Rusty is truly a little bit rock and a little bit roll with his country roots always shining through. He signed with Nashville based record label Tower Music Inc and released his first lead single “Who I Am, Who I Ain’t” in 2022 earning him a spot on the Music Row Charts for 6 weeks. “Who I Am, who I Ain’t” is a song I love. Nobody is perfect and that’s ok. It’s a song that speaks to who you are and what you stand for and being unapologetic about it.”
His second radio single “Shelter” broke 60 on the Music Row Charts surpass the success of its predecessor. Rusty’s 3d radio single “Crush” featuring Marti Dobson of the Bangles, released in August and has been his fastest climbing single to date.
Rusty Steel is an abundance of onstage charisma, a distinct voice, an unapologetic passion for his craft and a wildly charming personality. He’s a ‘good old boy, living life one boot across the line’ and making music along the way.
Rusty’s debut album “One Boot Across the Line” drops July 12th 2024 in the midst of the eastern swing of his tour by the same name.
