| What inspired you to write this release? | |
| That feeling when you lock eyes with someone else who totally gets you, even if nobody else in the world does. And… the resurgence of disco! | |
| Describe the writing and recording process. | |
| I cowrote and coproduced this song with my dear friend August Mez, who is featured on vocals as well. We got into the studio and started telling a story, and then broke into two writing rooms. August focused on the melody while I focused on the bass line, and the rest of the project came together organically after that. | |

| I barely hit the road outside my house these days, but I am considering doing a virtual show of some kind. | |
| As an indie artist, how do you brand yourself and your music to stand out from the rest of the artists out there? | |
| That is one of the hardest things for me. I trust my gut, and battle my brain when it tries to derail my authenticity. Put myself out there and see who vibes. | |
| Who have you been listening to lately? | |
| Lady Gaga, Elton John, and The Weeknd! Also Dua Lipa hits so hard. | |
| Who are your biggest influences? | |
| I grew up loving 80s hair metal and 60s blues music, and it wasn’t until recently that I started getting into modern production. Lady Gaga is a huge inspiration of mine. So is John legend, Childish Gambino, The Weeknd, Bruno Mars. The list goes on and on. | |
| Tell us about your passions. Besides music, what gets you out of bed in the morning? | |
| Writing, creativity, coffee, and of course the day job demands often force me out of bed… | |
| What is happening next in your world? | |
| I’m working on some new music, and trying to balance that with a TV show I’m cowriting as well! (And of course that whole day job thing)… But in all seriousness, I’m trying to practice gratitude each day for all that I have, when so many in the world have so little, and are suffering so much. Beyond that, it’s all icing on the cake to me! | |
