My name is Phil Q, and I am an emerging singer, songwriter, producer, and musician who experiments with different styles of R&B ranging from soul and hip-hop to electronic and alternative. When I write, I draw inspiration from the Bay Area nightlife, immersing my listeners in my shoes through meticulously crafted lyrics that tell my story, from exploring SF to speeding down I-880 and vibing to chill music and deep conversation. I am worth following because I can take the best of any genre and blend it into my own unique style.
Where are you from and what’s the music scene like there?
I am from San Jose, California. The music scene mostly revolves around R&B, Hip Hop, EDM, House, and a ton of throwbacks! Many musical cultures are blended in the Bay Area, and many different styles are discovered on a regular basis.
