Who are you?
I try to be versatile , I like making all types of music because itโs fun. However more recently Iโm trying to stray towards the Pluggnb sound I think those 90โs rnb samples are so sick and Iโve been working on adopting my sound with those. Like my two recent drops โpop out!โ And โletโs go!โ. I also feel like itโs pretty evident that my sound and style is completely different than really anyone in the Canadian music scene at the moment, Iโm inspired by the 2014-18 soundcloud era like Fauni, Uno, Dsavage , Levi Carter etc. Like my music taste is 100% underground-soundcloud , and of course some indie as well and I try to keep those roots when making music. Not too many people out here are too familiar with the sound or culture of those artists and the underground era in general if that makes any sense? The common taste is more based around the Toronto drill sound out here.
Where are you from?
Edmonton Alberta , Canada. Itโs a small music scene but itโs growing rapidly. Like crazy fast. Our common sound out here is similar to that of the Toronto underground scene. We have a couple of artists really blowing up though like FRVRFRIDAY who has a feature with lil baby and millions of plays and thereโs ARDN as well heโs dope. Also most people donโt know but Mac Demarco is also from Edmonton, we have a huge Indie scene here especially in Strathcona area.
