Who are you?
I am a trained vocalist in classical hindustani music. Later I had tried different musical instruments like Swramandal, tabla, flute etc. Very often I had compose music for my lyrics, other renounce lyricist and legend of Urdu and Hindi Shayar Mirza Ghalib. Myself write compose and sing very often. I like to sing gazal, kawali, rabindra geetee. Except these I have lots of work on contemporary classical ragas.
Where are you from?
I am from West Bengal, India.
Bengal is blessed by Kabiguru Rabindranath Tagore, here no such bengali is found who does not like to here or sing couple of rabindra getee, composed by Gurudeb. Except him we are blessed by Kazi Nazrul and so many legends. Singers like Bade Ghulam Ali khan, Bheem Sen Jhoshi, Lata Mangeshkar, Kishore Kumar are enriched our vision to the music.
