Tell us something about you that fans should know:
Artist Masta is one of the few singing DJs in the world and the only one in Russia.I like positive vibes, I like when people love each other. Most of my tracks are about love stories. All my DJ friends tell me that they associate my music with the sea, the sun, beautiful girls, pool parties. As an artist myself, I like to give people more positivity. My dream is to play a set of my tracks at a cool disco, funky, house party.
Where are you from and what’s the music scene like there?
Im author, musician, sound-producer, dj and singer. Professional career in the music field began in 1996 with small venues in the city of Volgodonsk. Over time, major festivals and thousands of venues appeared in my life. From 2004-2009, im participated as the author, performer and front man of the electronic band "Sound Shocking".
During this time, the group was recognized as the "Discovery of the Year" by Muzzone (2005), performed at major festivals in the country (Kazantip, Shop 7, Creamfields Russia and many others). The songs were rotated on many radio stations in Russia, Neighboring Countries and the West. In 2009, im left the band and began a solo career.
From 2010 to 2014, many songs co-written with various DJs were included in the TOP 10 radio stations and occupied the first places in the charts. Later gathered a live band " Masta Band "with which he took part in TV shows: "X Factor "and "The Winner". In 2016, im released the track “Burnin”, which was included in the “Ibiza Winter Collection 2016” compilation.
Together with my friend Evgeny Khramkov (Dj Hacker), we are released various tracks that were included in the radio show Paul Oakenfold (Planet Perfecto) – Gariy, Hacker ft Masta – Party Movin On, Josh the Funky One and other.At the moment, the i'm leads two musical projects: Masta and the group "2Berega". I have 4 albums and more 35 releases. In 2020 I'm took part in the world TV show "The Voice" Russia.
My EP "Dance" (2020) entered the TOP 100 albums in Russia, and was also recognized as the reference sound of disco funk music.
