Where are you from?
I currently reside in Newnan, Georgia which is close to Atlanta, Georgia. The music industry here is filled with hip hop and rap, for me going into Pop gives a subtle but fun genre. Being able to connect with others in the music industry is easy but for performances and actually mingling with DJ's its a lot harder and next to impossible because of the hard core music especially unclean music which is a lot more popular in this area.
