In his new track, Jay Diener takes us on an internal adventure to focus on what’s really
important for us. Through his brilliant lyricism, he captures the essence of what it means for
him to create and write music, illustrating that it is his own version of meditation and escape
into that reflective and self-empowering feeling.
808Riot is the creator behind the instrumental, a talented upcoming producer out of
Australia. From there Jay recruited another incredible producer/engineer Kevin Farrell to add
some production flair and engineer the finished package. Along with the flawless production
of the track, Jay’s versatile lyrical style emphasizes the feeling of entering space and a new
dimension of discovery, taking us into the “stardust”.
The song in its entirety is an anthem for the dreamers and free spirits who never stop
believing despite their situations and/or what other people think.
Jay has an undeniable talent of creating lyrics that are open to interpretation depending on
the listener’s own perspective and experience. This creates an atmosphere that lets the
listener dive deep into the vibe Jay has laid out.
“Stardust” is a track that can be played at a party, in your down time or just on a drive. It’s
not too mellow and not too aggressive; It falls right in the middle.
Born and raised in New Jersey, Jay Diener loved music from the beginning. His parents
surrounded him with sounds from Public Enemy to Oasis; From Bob Marley, John Denver and
Carl Cox to Tupac and Whitney Houston. This background birthed the passion and drive to
create his own songs. What started out as freestyles in the cafeteria grew into something
beautiful; He took the ups and downs he experienced on life’s roller coaster and turned them
into words. In 2018, after a series of losses in the family, a metaphorical fire was set under
him and he began to gain momentum with his first official single Full Circle; He hasn’t stopped
since.”
