Who are you?
Syracuse Hip Hop artist ITZYOUNGJAY started creating music at age 13 after his mother survived a fatal car accident in 2005. By 2017, Jay discovered his signature sound by experimenting with melodic cadences and intricate delivery ultimately creating his own unique genre of music.
Jay hopes to inspire others to be themselves and chase their dreams no matter what others say.
His new album “World On Fire” is set to release September 13th, 2022.
Where are you from?
I was born at St. Josephs Hospital in Syracuse NY in 1996, grew up a happy child until my parents divorced, That’s when I started bouncing from place to place, home to home in which ended up making me turn to writing my thoughts and feelings down in school. It wasn’t until 2015 when I started to take my music seriously. It was my outlet and I hope I can help others with whatever situations they’re currently going through.
