Tell us something about you that fans should know:
I’m attempting to start a new wave in the emo rap genre. Most artists in the genre focus on being melodically, and I aim to combine that approach with my own unique rap style. A lot of people assume emo rappers can’t really spit, I’m here to prove them wrong with bars on top of sad tones. I want people with mental health issues to hear my music and know people like us can still flex and not wallow in our own sorrow.
Where are you from and what’s the music scene like there?
I am from Rochester, New York. Right now there is only one semi viral artist in my city; my goal is to put Rochester on the map.
How have your life experiences influenced your music?
My life experiences are the reason I make music. I grew up with a toxic environment (which I will go into detail on in later tracks) and music was my only escape. I want to help people escape with music and potentially save lives in the process.
