Tell us something about you that fans should know:
I would describe myself as honest. I think if I had to put myself in a genre I would say i'm in the alternative/indie genre but I try to be open and not think of categories when i'm creating. I love to write about my experiences and broaden it so it would apply to many different situations i've been through which somehow feels more vulnerable than speaking about a specific experience individually. I love intimate songwriting and being repetitive in music as well, I think it creates some kind of trance-like state
Where are you from and what’s the music scene like there?
I was born in San Diego, CA I would say the music scene in general in California is extremely open and diverse. Im located in North Hollywood now which is where alot of indie artists live as well, I would say it's like a cluster of different music out here which I personally love!
How have your life experiences influenced your music?
I can't express how much my personal experiences have impacted the way I write about things. Whenever I write anything a piece of personal history is revealed for me. The past is fuel for me and my songwriting, it makes me think about how other people might have been through the same things whether that be good or bad, it also feels like i'm confessing something or writing in a diary somehow
