“There's a thin line between the hood and the suburbs. My music is a reflection of my struggle surviving the hood in order to write myself a better future.”

Tell us all about this new track of yours!
Gang Slidin Music it's the music you play in your car and do the dash smoking backwoods feeling like you run the city switchin lanes with a pocket full of money focused racing to the hills

Who would you most like to collaborate with?
RJmrLA

Where are you from and what is the music scene like?
I'm from Hawthorne, California a city south of Los Angeles. The music scene has been booming in Hawthorne its originally the place where Kurupt from Tha Dogg Pound is from. Along with Slip Capone, Under Dawg, Timebomb, & Knoc'turnal. Russell Westbrook went to High School out here I went to school with his younger brother so its always been talent in Hawthorne. Rosecrans connects us to Gardena, Compton, & Paramount. One drive down Rosecrans and you can see the versatility in the communities which is heard in my music.

How have your life experiences influenced your music?
I was a foster kid that graduated a year early from school. I was always a genius just stuck in the hood with a bad temper I've been kicked out of almost every school in LA starting in 6th Grade. I was put out on the streets when I was 16 I had to sleep in slides and stealing candy from Walgreens to resale it my friends that were still in school. Ended up hustling $5 sacks of stress weed then moved up to selling crack. The crack money was good but I wanted more so I began flocking houses. That's when I caught my first strike at 18 after that I came home and started chasing my dreams until I was identified in a assault robbery by a homie that snitched. I was 19 with 2 kids on the way doing 2 1/2 years in the state prison. I came home and never looked back and now I live my life through this music.

Which character in your favorite movie do you most identify with? Why?
Paid In Full is My Number One I can relate to Ace the most. He wasn't tryna be in the scene he worked a 9 to 5 took care of his family and supported those around him. Circumstances lead him to drug dealing and the crowd he had around him prayed on his downfall. I've watched day one homies turn like a doorknob, Ex's do some treacherous things, & family set you up. Seeing the betrayal in the movies and experiencing the same pain this'll be forever a classic.
