It's part of England's 'midwest', a broken and neglected industrial town. Ugly yet uniquely welcoming, like that friendly guy who claims benefits and always seems to be 'out and about' when you are wearing the same PUMA vest top which accentuates his unusually long, two-tone armpit hair. You enjoy exchanging small talk while ensuring a safe physical distance. Yes, Stoke-on-Trent is that armpit!
I think the music scene which mainly comprises of Metal, illegal Raves and DJ's for weddings/children's parties has been pretty much demolished by the pandemic. I seem to remember the pre-covid music scene mostly involved tatoos, having beards and wearing clothes at least one size too small.
The music scene in my kitchen, er I mean recording studio is a smouldering mass of red-hot, ground-breaking inspiration…. Metaphorically of course, I don't have the funds to pay for a new kitchen, I mean studio floor.
I suppose so. I'm of an age I need to be considering life insurance, occasional laxatives and matters onvolving my local council and I'm writing the best music of my life.
I've travelled, done theatre-work since the age of 9 and worked in healthcare for the majority of my adult life.
This pretty much makes me a goddamn expert… OK?
