Tell us all about this new track of yours!
My new song 'Lavish' featuring my brother J Magic is something a little different than what I usually do. Its a harder trap beat but the flow and the vocals aren't what you'd expect on a beat like this. I made a lil bit of money now people think I'm living 'Lavish' so I made a song about it.
Who would you most like to collaborate with?
To be honest, I really want to make an rnb song with Billie Elilish or Ariana Grande but the rappers I would most wanna link with are Quando Rondo, YB, Roddy Ricch, and Lil Baby.
Where are you from and what is the music scene like?
I represent the DMV. Northern Virginia to be specific. The music out here in my opinion is trash af. Every single beat the same and every nigga says the same shit in every song. There some people who popped off like IDK, YungManny, and Q-Da-Fool, but other than that the rest only "famous" in this area and stick to the same repetitive beats and lyrics. I'm just trying to be different.
How have your life experiences influenced your music?
I've always been into music and was writing songs and making beats on GarageBand on my phone long before, two years to be exact, I had ever thought about going to a studio. I always felt like I could do so much better than the rappers that are coming out of my area. I done lost some people I was close with over the summer and it really changed me and pushes me to go harder cuz it was big bro dream to rap so I feel its me and my niggas responsibility to carry out his dream and we gonna get it by any means.
