Born on June 9, 2004 and raised in Long Island, New York, DTB Shoota (DTB meaning Down to Business) fell in love with Hip Hop at the age of 7. Inspired by the likes of Nas, Lil Wayne, Jay- Z, and more recently XXXTentacion and Ski Mask The Slump God, he started writing lyrics in the summer of 2019.

How have your life experiences influenced your music?
At the age of 13, New York rapper DTB shoota burst onto the scene in late 2019 with “Catch an Opp ”, featuring Bugszy Citglo. Since then, his tracks have been streamed over 20 million times online, establishing him as one of the hottest up-and-coming artists in the city.
