Tell us something about you that fans should know:
I am a 16 year old kid from Scituate, Massachusetts who has been making music since I was 11. I have always had a passion for listening to music so eventually I started with just writing poem-like lyrics when I was around 11. Once I turned 12, I was gifted a DJ board and started having fun mixing music together and creating my own versions of songs. I didn't start recording my own personal music under the name of "O$hak" until I was around 14. I truly enjoy heartbreak music and music that you can really relate to or even use as a form of therapy. So when I started recording, thats what I was drawn to.
Where are you from and what’s the music scene like there?
I am from a small town on the South Shore close to Boston. Boston Music is full of upcoming artists trying to reach the Mainstream level.
How have your life experiences influenced your music?
I have always had health issues since I was a young kid. I was diagnosed with an Auto-Immune disease around 12 or 13 which means my immune system is very compromised and causes me to get sick much easier than the average, healthy person. My particular Auto Immune Disease included a certain deficiency of IGG. Around the age of 14, I was also diagnosed with Chronic Lyme disease and Postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome (P.O.T.S. Disease) causing various symptoms including constant Nausea, Fatigue, Dizziness and especially Extreme Chronic Body Pain. I began to use music as a form of therapy for myself. Singing about my pain and trauma along with depression in hopes to spread awareness about mental and physical illness so that people can know, they are NOT alone. One day I hope people can use MY music as a form of their own therapy to soothe their own struggles in life. My life has not been easy but music makes the challenges easier to overcome.
Who would you most like to collaborate with?
If Juice WRLD was still here, I would most enjoy collaborating with him saying he is one of my biggest influences. I would also Like to collaborate with artists such as, The Hxliday, SoFaygo, Trippie Redd and producers like Nick Mira, CG Beats and many other producers from the INTERNET MONEY TEAM.
