Artist Name: Jesse Rymer

New Song/Release Title: No self trust.

Tell us something about you that fans should know:

Honestly, I don’t really know how to answer this because I’m just some kid that purely writes and expresses about how his feeling, his struggles and beliefs cause not only does it help when it comes to dealing with some of life’s trials and obstacles but I’ve also got a lot to say. I guess if I had to sum myself up in a nutshell, I’d say I’m someone who’s music is fuelled by sincerity, honesty and rawness as my goal every time I make a song is to deliver on the emotions I’m projecting, so in order to do that I gotta just say what I feel and am feeling at the time, I don’t know a lot about the engineering when it comes to producing and mixing music but like i said I’m only new to making music seriously, so I will eventually master it. At the moment my music isn’t to bad for someone who doesn’t really know what his doing, so I’m extremely hopeful for the future as I only have to grow and evolve.

Where are you from and what’s the music scene like there?

Im 24, I’m from the Sydney area in Australia, I’m only new to making music (been doing it for about 8 months) so I’m not a 100% sure what the music scene is like at the moment, cause I’m still on the search to connect with like minded people that share a similar passion when it comes to music. The Newcastle music scene was popping a few years ago but has kinda died down and don’t hold the same presence as it once did which sucks cause it makes it harder to come across opportunities to perform at live gigs/show’s and find exposure, especially when your just starting out and don’t really know many people involved with music, like me.
But hard work pays off so I have faith that I will find success eventually cause I’m not gonna give, I know I’ll get to where I want to be.
I know it.

How have your life experiences influenced your music?

Dramatically. I am where I am because of my life experiences…
My taste in music, the way I feel about music and the power I know it holds all comes from the stuff I’ve experienced physically, spiritually and mentally. I’d like to say
it’s almost like a divine intervention, I could go on for days about how I know that everything I’ve been through, both good and bad, has been leading me to where I know I meant to be, I’m as greatful for my pain as I am for my joy cause I know it’s been shaping and aiding me for the future. Basically I know why I was put on this earth and I know what I’m meant to do with the life I’ve been given.

Who would you most like to collaborate with?

If I had to choose anyone in history,I’d have to say Layne Staley from Alice in Chains (90s grunge band) or Lil Peep as I connect with them both on a very intimate level, in saying that I’ve been trying to find people to collaborate with but it’s hard cause I care an awful lot about my music and music in general, so I’m not really the type of guy to collab with anyone to just get a feature or build notoriety because music is to precious to me to become corrupt and in my opinion and once I start just collabing or working with anyone to just build a buck than that defeats the purpose of why originally picked up a microphone, as I’ve said I’ve got something to say and wanna spread my message with with the world and not just fill my pockets with money.
