Where are you from and what is the music scene like?
Originally born in United States. From age 10 raised after in Europe, Cyprus. Studied and work later on in USA and UK. Also been in Dubai and Greece for work. Generally the music scene in Cyprus is small so limited opportunities so we have to generate popularity from other countries of the world.
How have your life experiences influenced your music?
I have a mantra that I live by. It is a quote by Charlie Parker (beloved jazz saxophonist and composer): “Music is your own experience, your own thoughts, your wisdom. If you don't live it, it won't come out of your horn. They teach you there's a boundary line to music. But, man, there's no boundary line to art.” My life’s purpose is to make sure that this boundary simply doesn’t exist for anyone who has music in his or her soul!
In addition to liberating the musical talent of thousands of individuals, I will be allocating up to half of the proceeds that I raise directly to charities. Two of my highest charitable priorities are: “Help for Children” and “Help for Pets,” international organizations.
