Tell us something about you that fans should know:
I would say we have a unique style, We have an array of genres with which we experiment. However, we love creating progressive ambient tracks the most. Since we don't have a drummer we try to use our instruments to create the warmth and texture for our tracks and work around a basic beat in Logic. I think this is one of our strongest areas since we always come up with interesting melodies, vibes, and textures.
Where are you from and what’s the music scene like there?
Faru. came about 3 years ago when we all moved into a house together for university. By chance we all were musicians and that was the spark that we bonded over. Mark the bassist comes from Birmingham, Lee can play anything strings related and comes from Germany. Then I play guitar. We all live in the Bustling City of Manchester now and are looking for our next opportunity to get out and gig.
How have your life experiences influenced your music?
From a young age, we have all been into music. Whether it be going to gigs and throwing ourselves into the moment and truly living or creating music either on our phones or in the studio. We have individual stylistic influences that make Faru such an interesting band to listen to.
