Tell us something about you:
I'm a musician, first and foremost. I enjoy making hip hop, but there are many genres I have yet to go into and create. Stay tuned, it's coming. If you enjoy laid-back rap that you can listen to front to back, my first album, 'Chepps- A Thing or Two' will be your best bet. Some west coast sounds mixed with northwest, perfect for relaxing to with some weed.
I'm from Seattle, WA and feel honored to be part of the music scene here. There are lots of dope artists in the area, I'm just striving to be the best. My city has been known for a great many genres, so I'd like to expand on some of these and how they intertwine- and bring them to the forefront. Many legends have been born here that are still relevant in the music industry, ranging from grunge to rap to jazz, and it's cool to appreciate that.
Life in the PNW can be nice. I feel lucky to be able to walk and buy weed in a store, and you can see this reflect in some of the flows and verses I use on my album. Not everywhere is the same. I want people to have a good time, but also be able to reflect on past injustices and the general feeling of being a person of color in America.
