Tell us something about you that fans should know:
I write songs based on my emotions not what is happening in the world or topics that relate to other people's lives and not mine. I want people to be able to connect to my music but I want the ability too. I believe that it's hard to call a song your if you can't relate to it whether thats in the lyrics or production.
Where are you from and what’s the music scene like there?
I am from a small town in Pennsylvania so there aren't any big bands or atists there. I usually depend on the radio to find new bands. For the past 5-6 years I've been listening to AJR, a band who I think is amazing. They make great music and they write about their own personal lives which is what I have tried to do myself. Even if not many people can relate AJR still finds a way to have people enjoy their music.
How have your life experiences influenced your music?
For sure. My life hasn't been the best and one of the only ways I could escape from it was music. I used my experiences and all of the sadness and happiness that was bottled up and released it into my music.
