I'm a melodic granular and glitch bass producer from the Philippines. My production style incorporates the sound from my artist inspirations Ekcle, Nemesy, voljum, AWAY, and Crywolf while combining it with my 11 years performing live in acoustic pop and rock bands as a guitarist and vocalist. The sound I create combines melodic soundscapes and fast-pace granular rhythms with acoustic strings and dynamics.
This sound of mine has allowed me to win two International Remix Competitions, namely
• "Restart" Competition by Add Ten held by Industrial Parasite (Alabama, US). 2021
• "Lost" Competition by Homayoun Shajarian & Seventh Soul held by Tarr Records (Kazakhstan) and Exia Digital Distribution (Russia). 2021
Where are you from and what’s the music scene like there?
I'm a melodic bass/glitch artist from the Philippines. The electronic music scene here is so underrepresented, it's no wonder why a majority of the population don't prefer electronic music. Let alone understand the beauty in it.
Which is a shame. Because there are so many talented up and coming electronic music producers in the Philippines. Just have to listen.
