Can you tell us a little about yourself?
My name is Jaziah Hoke I go by the name of Trustorey, a creative artist out of St. Louis just looking to share my emotions and real life stories through my music and reflecting situations that many can relate to and vibe to. Due to the pandemic I fell off track and lost my momentum early on in 2020 after I dropped my first visual on YouTube (“Loner” – TruStorey ). In the meantime i reevaluated my plan and I’m committed this year to building a buzz In hopes of picking up where I left off last year with more Visualz and more releases. I’m a hardworking individual I lost a lot last year but I didn’t make excuses and I didn’t want anyone to feel any kind of sympathy because I will overcome any obstacles to reach my goals. If you could reach any goal in 2021, what would it be?
My goal for 2021 is to get heard. Last year wasn’t stable enough for me to grasp any attention and promote as much as I should’ve been so I wanna make the most out of this year and really focus on building a real fan base so people can really feel where I’m coming from through my music.
What is your greatest source of inspiration?
My son inspires me to be the best I can be.
How have your life experiences influenced your music?
Dealing with so much pain and so much happiness in life has really helped me mold into the artist I am today. Mostly my music is a representation of my life or
experiences that’s why I chose the name “TruStorey”.
