Who are you?:
We are a two-piece who record in our spare room. Through writing numerous songs we have done our best to learn the production side of music, and are revisiting our earlier songs to polish them off best we can. The submitted songs is one of our favourites – named after a fish and chip shop from down the road!
Inspiration?:
QOTSA, Thee Oh Sees, King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard
Why?:
This is actually a side project. We are both in another band called Girl Afraid, but as The Lairgate Sessions is a home project we can spend as much spare time as we like on it and just love to create songs! Hopefully one day TLS will play gigs but for now Girl Afraid are our main gigging band (well, after COVID!!)
