Recording Artist: Prophet

Can you tell us a little about yourself?
My name is Aaron Feldkamp aka Prophet.I'm a 2nd year student on my journey to a bachelor's degree in the Science of Music Production at LAFS Hollywood CA. Been locked up most of my life and learned some valuable lessons. I live in a basement, work at a retirement home as a janitor and I'm full-time student helping my friend Anton fix his ancestor's ranch up here in Texas and trying to find a manager for my promotion and to secure me a recording deal. Im from Southern Michigan near Detroit and now live in Snyder Texas. I am told my music is ahead of it's time like Dr. Dre and every great Pioneer I have made my own Genre of Hip Hop/ Rap Music. I won't go into much detail as of right now because it's still a journey of trial and error as such is my entire life has been. Just know this, I create music, compose songs, and produce beats to the people who need healing. Im applying for a NSA Federal grant proposal for a project regarding music healing. My raps are mostly my life experiences like the one I'm submitting here is me and my son Carter which I'm presenting to 3 A&R's on Jan 20th 2021 via COAST@COASTLIVE on FB. Its about what I've learned from them all through self reflection and relationships around me. I craft my music and lyrics to reach the ears of the world for an emotional experience to relate to them personally on a wide range of topics. My life has been darkness, I was pulled out of that darkness when I realized I deserve better than it. So I came out of the darkness healed and now my mission is to go back into the darkness to pull out those who are ready for the same transition as I had. My music is about to Change the world and bring healing through certain factor's of truth and prophecy. This is just the beginning.

I am Prophet

If you could reach any goal in 2021, what would it be?
To inspire to the masses to BECOME THE CHANGE they want to see.

What is your greatest source of inspiration?
God, my son, Pac', Nas, Jay-Z, Drake, DMX, Eminem, Hank Williams Jr, AVANT, Ginuwine, A perfect Circle, Chevelle, Michael Jackson, Dimebag Darrell, Lincoln Park, Lil Durk, CalenRaps, Phora, Joyner Lucas, Ace Hood, Don Trip,

How have your life experiences influenced your music?
Where do I start?..Well my dad left when I was a boy of about 4 yrs old. My mom became a prostitute. We were living in Cali at the time, California is where it all began for me. Then I went through some horrible things I'm not going to say right now except to say molestation, rape, and seeing my mom try and commit suicide in front of my eyes so many times before the age of 10…thats the beginning.

After about 17 years of juries, jails and prisons', ganglia, cartel work, and drug use and sales, I finally chose me. Trust me there's a lot to me that I make music about. They can relate to it because I've been threw the worse of the worse. I finally woke up when I beat a fed case on a murder for hire on a police officer. Again it's a long story and not one i'm going to get into telling right now. Be that as it may Its inspired me to make music so as for therapy for me and now im healed it is going to be me speaking to the masses about it and understanding why they are the way they are and what to do about it. Healing by the Power of Hip Hop directly from the Prophets Mouth.
