Can you tell us a little about yourself?
I’m a singer/songwriter/rapper from Cincinnati, OH. I’ve been playing music since I was a kid, learning to play drums, piano and guitar. It’s been my lifelong dream to be a musician and since the summer of 2020, I’ve started releasing music. I’ve always been a huge rap fan but I’ve been more into making alternative/indie music and R&B. I’m also openly bisexual and I like to use my music as a way to express it and be more open about it.
If you could reach any goal in 2021, what would it be?
I wanna be able to get my music heard by more people, specifically people who suffer from mental illness and people in the LGBTQ community because as a person who’s dealt with mental illness and struggled with opening up about my bisexuality, music has always been something that has been there to help me cope with it. I wanna reach audiences like me and let those kids know they ain’t alone.
What is your greatest source of inspiration?
Any artist that can bend/blend different genres to create their own style. Kanye, Frank Ocean, Kid Cudi and Lil Peep have been the most influential on me as an artist.
How have your life experiences influenced your music?
I had a complicated childhood, spent a long time dealing with my father be absent most of my childhood. In a lot of my music I reflect on that and how it shaped me as a person. Also, a lot of my music is very psychedelic-influenced, many of the songs I write are after an acid or mushroom trip. Psychedelics have always been very influential in my creativity as an artist.
