Recording Artist: Evelyn Arielle
Can you tell us a little about yourself?
I’ve been playing piano by ear since I was a little kid, and I play guitar by ear as well. I’ve been singing all of my life and music is something I’m extremely passionate about. I create a wide variety of musical genres including ambient, trance, rock, post-harcore, metal, and sometimes I create mashups of different genres. I’ve produced almost 80 songs last year and the platform I’ve decided to upload to was SoundCloud. Some of my music consists of instrumentals and some are with my vocals. I create music as an emotional outlet and my melodies are usually freestyle. Whatever pops into my head. Same goes for lyrics. My lyrics aren’t always written on paper. I love making music and it’s something I believe surpasses all of my other hobbies and spikes my interest most. I want to share my music with other people very much but I haven’t been able to find a way to promote myself.
If you could reach any goal in 2021, what would it be?
Honestly, I have no specific number in mind. I just want to be heard.
What is your greatest source of inspiration?
I would say that my emotions inspire me. When I create a song I want to construe the emotion that I’m currently feeling while I create the song. No specific artist inspires me greatly. I also believe that sometimes the sound that is heard- the emotions that are felt while listening to the song is more important than the lyrics themselves even-regardless of how important the lyrics are to me.
How have your life experiences influenced your music?
I’ve written several songs that were super emotional to me having to do with losses, pain, pleasure, and emotions in general.
