Can you tell us a little about yourself?
I'm an artist out of Massachusetts trying to just make some music and hopefully get it somewhere. I have an EP in the works with a producer friend, I rap a lot about heartbreak but also about just regular stuff in my life. I have been aiming to perfect my craft since I started rapping and have been hard at work discovering different types of music and learning new flows and learning how to create different sounds. I'm very open to all types of music whether it be country, pop, or rap.
If you could reach any goal in 2021, what would it be?
Do good on SATs, get one of my songs to blowup, get the appreciation I think I deserve, and have this EP I've been working on be a success. My sound I think has improved a lot, and I think that this is probably the best music I've created, but then again I feel like I'm constantly changing and improving so I'll always believe the newest stuff is my best. But if this EP succeeds, I think I would reach my goal.
What is your greatest source of inspiration?
JPEGMAFIA, Tyler the Creator, Kanye West, Danny Brown, MF DOOM, and my father.
How have your life experiences influenced your music?
I can't say I've had the hardest life, my father had worked hard to make sure that his kids could have the best life possible. I was born in California and lived there for a bit, moved to Japan and had some fun experiences there. I make a lot of references to life over there, make references to anime I watch and other stuff having to do with Japanese culture. I then moved to Massachusetts and have been here for a while. My families struggle to get me where I am is something I enjoy writing about, but a lot of my rap is more about heartbreak and the mentality of teen's in America. I feel like as a teen, I've seen all kinds of people, and have been in the head of many people, seeing what motivates them, what people like and dislike. I'd say my experience helping my friends and helping myself deal with mental issues is something I've written about, and heartbreak is something I've seen happen to myself and my friends, and is something I feel like I can write about for ages.
