“DJ-SLT-UK is someone who thrives on inspiring others with his diverse styles of music and even his very own genre called "INSTRUVOCAL" which is halt instrumental and half vocal, which can be of any genre of music but must start of as an instrumental for the first 1.5 minutes before any vocals come into the song as to create and influence of the music first.”
Where are you from and what is the music scene like?
Born & Raised in England before migrating out to Australia in the late 1980's and now resides in Coffs Harbour, NSW which is about 400km south of Brisbane & 580km north of Sydney.
What is your greatest source of inspiration?
Brand New Heavies/Dr.Dre/Tim Maclean/Taylor Swift/Will.I.Am/Philip Glass/Jean Michael Jarre
How have your life experiences influenced your music?
Like most people in life there's been many ups and downs to which DJ-SLT-UK draws on the moments of despair and uses juxta positioning in his music to create greater emotions on most of his songs. "It's part of the way I create music is to carefully place a negative melody lightly in the mix but to also place positive melodies so the music can be ideal for most moods and emotions at any given time
