Who are you?
I'd like to think of myself as a physical collection of all of my influences. My sound is inspired by my favourite artists which include the likes of : Partynextdoor, Michael Jackson, Drake, The Weeknd, Majid Jordan, Rio Pourcel, Sabrina Claudio. My sound is now niched with dark R&B sounding aesthetics and alternative Hip Hop themes. My genre can be defined as a fusion of Alternative Pop, R&B and Hip-Hop/Rap.
Where are you from?
I am from Johannesburg, South Africa. The music scene out here is quite crazy you know? there are so many artists creating beautiful sounds and there's so many genres to choose from. Hip Hop and R&B is more in my lane, and this scene is particular has quite a lot of competition – more so here in Sandton (the richest square mile in Africa). Other than that everyone is collaboration friendly and the scene here is very active.
