Where are you from and what is the music scene like?
I am from a small town in Alabama called Sulligent, not many people make music were I'm from but the ones who do I keep close.
What is your greatest source of inspiration?
Prince, Lupe fiasco, Lauryn hill, Al green, and Alabama shakes
How have your life experiences influenced your music?
I grew up in the backwoods outside the city limits, so I didn't have much contact with people outside my family except for when I went to school. I've always struggled to keep friends because I tend to pull away and do my own thing a lot. It's kind of always been like that. I didn't have my father around much of my life either. He kind of just popped in and out. So I was mostly raised by my mom and grandma.
