“Here’s a little bio about myself before you listen to my song. My name is Victor, my rapper name is Mrvpk6. I’m from Denver Colorado. I’ve been rapping since I was 9. I started taking music serious, at the age of 16. I remeber when I was little I would watch music video’s nonstop on channels like VH1, MTV, BET, and Fuse. After every music video I would watch I would know all the songs that were being played on the radio. Later in my life before rap, my mom gave me my very first DJ set, it was called the DJ Gemini set. It was to keep me outta of trouble and to keep me busy. After disc jockeying, my mom gave me her poetry book, and I started making rap songs outta of them off of random type beats I found online. Then she started sending me verses on my phone. From their I started to fall in love with music even more. I started rapping, singing, and disc jockeying. To this day I also produce music to from rap, to electronica, as well as a little r&b. My influences in music is Lecrae, KB, Drake, Eminem, Pitbull, Flo Rida, Kid Cudi, Akon, Summer Walker, Rihanna, Kehlani, and I got many more. I wouldn’t mine working with Pitbull, Drake, Flo Rida, Kehlani, Rihanna, and Lil Mosey.”

What inspired your new song?
Listening to Bruno Mars, and how he sampled off of other songs from back in the 90’s.

Describe your writing process?
Usually when i’m writing songs I wanna think of how it can relate to the audiences. Either making them feel good. Or sad for my song Everybody Dance Now I wanted to promote positive vibes for the audience.

Do you have a video?
Thinking of ideas for my next music video. I don’t know yet

How do you stand out as an artist?
When I’m doing different types of songs. I usually stick with the positivity when I’m working on music. My music to me is to promote encouragement, positivity, and also bringing uplift to are society. Letting them know you can do it no matter what.

Drake, Lecrae, MGk, Charlie Wilson, Miguel, Summer Walker, Big Sean, Pitbull, Flo Rida, Kings Of Leon, Rihanna, I can keep it going lol. I’ll stop right there.

What gets you up in the morning? 
God comes first. Going to my two jobs. Money is defiantly in the topic. Just moved in my very first apartment at 19. And it’s been a journey I’m a single teen just tryna become successful.

What’s next for you?
My goal is to drop 3 different albums as well as trying new things such as getting into latin music. And learning a lot more Spanish
