“The easiest are the toughest to answer! My dad, his dad (professional) were musicians so I guess it was meant to be. I grew up listening to a variety of stuff but metal was in my head thru Jr HS. I slowly transitioned to melodic rock – Coldplay was it! – through HS. My HS band won Battle of the Bands (we played some of my originals) and from there, I was off! I also grew up with the advent of DAW and I experimented like hell – and grew into it. After college, I immediately started playing for Carnival and ultimately got my 10k hours in. My girlfriend and I moved to Nashville for a year – I played at a few of the “hot” spots, & recorded my first EP which had a Country tinge – and then ultimately moved back to the Northeast AND back with Carnival (good $$ 🙂 I have a minor hit with a song on YT and I’m currently working on a new EP. My music is melodic but my dad has pushed me to “layer”, add counter melodies to my compositions as I continue to write and I’m extremely happy with my latest songs.”

What inspired your new song?
Quite simply, my breakup w/the GF and looking forward to new adventures.

Describe your writing process?
Melodies come to me while walking, driving, “Breathing” (my latest single – but I haven’t put on SC yet) and then it’s straight to the acoustic to work out.
