Interview: ALEXO
“I’m a young artist who has been making music for almost 10 years now. I’m 24 years old and have been through more than I can simply express with words alone. That’s why I make music today, to help capture the though and feelings that are simply easier to articulate and reveal in a song.”
Where are you from and what is the music scene like?
I’m from Minnesota, abs it’s always buzzing. There’s a lot of artist where I’m from and the culture is really just beginning to take shape here.
What is your greatest source of inspiration?
I think artist wise it would have to be Drake foremost, also other artists such as Blackbear and Juice WRLD. Honestly there’s so many.
How have your life experiences influenced your music?
Significantly, I started just making Trap style music. Just big upping myself and trying to be cool in my own way. But as life got real so did I and I began to experiment and move from that into really becoming vulnerable and open to whatever my heart needed to release.
