Who are you?
I was always that guy killing freestyles on a park bench somewhere. I love the feeling of catching a nice flow and hitting some clever punch lines, watching the circle around me bounce and get all excited. I figured if I could do it under pressure, I could do it even better in the studio.
Where are you from?
Growing up in the GTA, I knew people who chopped, people who were heavy into their academics, and people committed to their athletics, but not too many out here making music. I’ve dipped my toes in each of these worlds, but nothing facilitates good vibes like bumping some tuff tracks.
