Interview: Creuse
“Hey, my name is Creuse. I can define my music as a blend of groove with mysteriousness. Im trying to deliver a clean, crisp sound with catchy basslines. Id say my main styles are bass house and house, but I always like to work with new sounds and ideas.”
Where are you from and what is the music scene like?
I live in a small town here in northern Mexico called Chihuahua. Even though is not as big as a large city, the electronic music scene is very popular. Every now and then some small raves are organized in the city and underground clubs love playing techno. Unfortunately I think my style isnt blending with the edm music people are used to here. Like I said, the most popular generes are techno and psytrance while Im a house/bass House producer. Eventhough, if I can transmit well my ideas here, maybe I can create a trend where I live hopefully haha.
What is your greatest source of inspiration?
Skrillex, Tchami and french house in general, Lil Wayne, 21 Savage, Ivy Lab, Chromeo.
How have your life experiences influenced your music?
Currently Im studying a carreer in biotech engineering, but honestly my biggest dream is to be a DJ/producer. I would like to start promoting my music to let people get to know my music and see what can happen maybe in the future if I keep the struggle.
