Recording Artist: Scuuba Steve
“I’m a 23 year old producer/artist out of Grand Rapids, Michigan. I’ve been producing for three years and have been recording for a little almost two. I firmly believe that I’m crafting a new and unique sound that I can add to what many others have already added to the hip-hop and r&b genres. If I had to say what my music sounds like, I’d say it’s a nice mix of hip-hop, r&b, hyperpop, and trap. More than anything though, I want people to always be able to feel me and feel where I’m coming from with my music, whether they actually like my music or not.”
If you could reach any goal in 2021, what would it be?
To build my fan base some more. Definitely want more people to hear my music this year.

How have your life experiences influenced your music?
I’ve had a lot of really good luck and really bad luck with women so that’s a big topic of mine (relationships, entanglements, trust issues, and toxicity to be more specific). I also talk about depression and just how I’m feeling in general. I like to vent through my music. I also just talk about the ups and downs of my life and everything that comes with it. I’ve had some experiences so I try to paint a picture for the listeners so they can visualize what I’m saying.
