l3fthand creates sonic landscapes with complicated rhythms and odd themes. He drew us in pretty quickly with his Alien abduction intro. “l3fthand curates sounds that contain otherworldly properties, working with multiple genres and unconventional production techniques l3fty creates magical soundscapes that not only energize the room, but convey a depth of emotion.” That is a hell of a description and accurate.

How have your life experiences influenced your music?
Since a you child I have struggled with depression and ADHD (but who hasn’t) that’s not what shaped my influence in music. I started out playing guitar and singing sad songs at the age of 12 and continued to do that well through college. I used the pain I had experienced in bad relationships to shape the tone of my songs. In college (2007) I was introduced to electronic music production and the wonders of Ableton live and I learned that I could express so many more emotions through this avenue, I was hooked. Writing, recording, composing and sampling are my life and I could never give that up.
