I’m South African, born & raised in he streets of Ocean View, Cape Town. It’s simple really, with a city infested & poisoned with drugs, poverty & firearms the police wish they had, instead of becoming a victim. I became Young Gxn, the storyteller who put himself through hell & esstentially became heaven to those who blessed their ears with his truth. I’m your OG’s triple OG’s favorite rapper.”

How have your life experiences influenced your music?
Ouh damn. My struggles pretty much made my music, if things were pretty I would never be this confident. Ultimately, rock bottoms taught me all I need to know. Having moved 9 times before the age of 22, I’ve seen & exprienced enough to know everybody ain’t for you, not everybody is about you. So YOU be about YOU. My level of self-love & respect in my raps is on god mode, allow me to accompany you on this journey of becoming more of yourself. Young Gxn ain’t for the people, Young Gxn is for the less equal.
