Recording Artist: TyFromTheFuturr
Can you tell us a little about yourself?
I am a Artist/Rapper from Phoenix, AZ and I have been making music since about 8 years old, but only releasing music since 2016. What I do as an artist to really set and show myself different from everyone else is the dynamic variety of music I have and continue to create. I take time to really create something new consistently because the same thing over and over gets boring, and I don’t want to release music I am bored of or not enjoying creating myself.I always bring something new to the table that typically has a lot of emotion driven into it, I want my fans to truly feel my exact thoughts and emotions with my music.
If you could reach any goal in 2021, what would it be?
I would like to take my creativity to the next level and push my ability further to really create what I know I am capable of. I would also want to real put myself and my craft out into the world more because I feel people will be able to see the emotion, the ability, and I can provide to a very large demographic through making various genres of music.
What is your greatest source of inspiration?
XXXTENTACION, Paramore, Avril Lavigne, Warren G, Montell Jordan, Gorillaz, Blink-182, Frank ocean, Frank Sinatra, and many more just to name a few.
How have your life experiences influenced your music?
Since a young age I’ve always been a curious and different kid, I’ve always wanted to learn something else that wasn’t what was being told to me.but all my life music has always been the key thing that stuck to me, I always wanted to understand these artists and their words and what it all means. Growing up I lived an average life with not many problems until I got a bit older. Around when I was 12-13 years old I started suffering from mental illness like depression, bipolar, and aggravated stress issues that only got worse as I got older. This was something I always wondered if people could deeply and truly understand in music. This and listening to a lot of XXXTENTACION Inspired me to write music about my real thoughts and pain. I very occasionally dropped music up until the end of my freshman year of high school when I got kicked out for a few various reasons and was put into a mental health hospital to avoid multiple charges. This is when I really learned about my mental health and focused on not only my music creativity and thought also my mind and well being. Since then my music has been still emotion driven but a lot more thought and real work put into it to make listeners really feel what I do.
