“My name is Brittany or Queen Bandit and I am from Millbrook AL born and raised in the South a real bama girl all the way I am 20 years old and I live with my mother who is schizophrenic and my older sister I love music it is my escape from the world when I rap and write I can be Queen Bandit a persona separate from myself I gain this confidence I never really had and my anxiety seems to go away in those moments when I rap the story of my music is it didn’t start out as music at first it started out as me writing deep poetry than overtime turned into rap music I don’t really know how it happened but rap took over writing poetry and I been writing rap ever since sometimes I will be in a store and just hear a hook for a song or a beat or a lyric and jot it down in my notebook I am engulfed by music on a daily bases it is all I ever think about thank you for letting me take the time to explain myself.”
