Who are you?
I honestly believe that I was born to be an artist. I've been an athlete, a salesman, and other things, but nothing makes me feel purpose quite like making music. I love creating songs that resonate emotionally with listeners, and I think of every song as a concept with the potential to impact millions. If I'm making music, it's because I believe I have an idea worth sharing with the whole world.
Where are you from?
The Soldier is sometimes 2 artists (Hunter and Augusto), sometimes 1. In this case, it was Hunter who made Rose. I started taking guitar lessons in 3rd grade, and I quit a couple of years later to teach myself music through ear and YouTube. I evolved into an independent artist, and then into the frontman for The Soldier. I'm from Boston. Boston has a whole lot of rock bands that are up and coming, my personal favorite being Good Sleepy (soundcloud.c…). In the summer, we really like outdoor concerts with full bands, but in the winter, night clubs take over with the hottest dance and rap songs at the moment.
